What is a Christian?

In a quiet library, an open book invites reflection with the phrase "Have questions, then search for the answers," echoing the biblical promise from Matthew 7:7 about seeking and finding truth.

What is a Christian?

For this Heart one that is "rooted" in Love.

A core of my belief, is to Love my Neighbor, as I Love Myself. These words were the beginning of this Heart's Journey on what I believe and I am willing to die on.

Are You Listening?

What is a Christian?

The more I learn the more I realize there is so much more to learn.

This is returning to the basics and standing on what this heart believes and

continues to be In Search, seeking So Much More.

Please take what can be An Asset to the next steps of your Journey.

And

To Consider "what is the root" of What You Believe?!.

What is a Christian?

1. A Follower of Jesus

A Christian believes that Jesus came to earth, taught people how to live with love and truth, died for humanity’s sins, and rose again. Christians try to model their lives after His teachings—things like forgiveness, compassion, humility, and serving others.

2. Someone who believes in salvation through grace

Christians believe people are saved (made right with God) not by being perfect, but through God’s grace—received by faith in Jesus.

3. A person living by the teachings of the Bible

The main sacred text for Christians is the The Bible. It guides how believers understand God, life, morality, and purpose.

4. Part of a global faith community

Christianity is the largest religion in the world, with many groups such as Catholicism, Protestantism, and Eastern Orthodoxy. While they differ in traditions, they all center on Jesus.

To Simplify,

A Christian is someone who says:

I believe in Jesus, and I’m learning to live the way He taught.”

And

For This Heart, that is all things wrapped in Love, in Jesus Name.

And truthfully,

Faith is a journey of growth, not perfection. Faith is practiced day by day—through prayer, gratitude, serving others, and learning.

This Heart doesn't Have all the Answers, just sharing what this Heart is plowing through.

Sharing what is a blessing for more and offering what can be an Asset for your heart to consider and to add to your journey.

Hugs,

Yvette "Donyale"
